Crust
  1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease 13 x 9 baking pan.
  2. Mix flour, brown sugar, and 1/4 cup granular sugar in medium bowl; cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in oats and pecans. Reserve 1 cup of oat mixture; press remaining mixture onto bottom of pan.
  4. Bake 15 minutes.
Pumpkin Filling
  1. Beat cream cheese, 1/2 granular sugar, eggs, pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice in a small bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
  2. Pour over crust; sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.
  3. Bake 25 minutes. Cool completely.
  4. Cut into 24 bars. Store leftover bars in tightly covered container in the refrigerator.

  1. Preheat oven at 350. Grease baking sheets.
  2. Break up sliced almonds into small pieces. In a large bowl beat sugars and margarine until light and fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla and eggs, blend well.
  4. Mix flours, soda, baking powder, coconut and almonds.
  5. Add to sugar mixture, mix well. Stir in cereal and pecans.
  6. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet and bake 8 minutes or until brown.

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Line the bottom of an 8x8 pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray for easy removal.
  3. To make the crust & crumble, to a large bowl add melted butter, white whole wheat flour, regular oats, honey, brown sugar, lemon zest and salt. Mix until just combined, mixture should be a little crumbly. Scoop out 1 cup of the mixture and set aside, that will be your crumble.
  4. Add the remaining mixture to the prepared pan. Spread the mixture out and using your fingers press into the bottom of the pan so the crust is in an even layer.
  5. To make the Blueberry Filling: to a small bowl add blueberries, brown sugar, lemon juice, and white whole wheat flour. Toss to combine.
  6. Add the blueberry mixture on top of the crust and spread out evenly.
  7. Evenly sprinkle the crumble mixture over the top of the bars.
  8. Dust the top of crumble with cinnamon (optional).
  9. Bake the bars for 50 minutes. Remove the bars from the pan and let sit for 10 minutes. Cut and serve.

  1. Preheat oven at 300°.
  2. Mix oil and honey together. Pour into two 9 X 13 pans. Melt oil and honey in 300˚ oven for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and bake for 30-40 minutes, stirring at 10 minute intervals. Add dried fruit when cooled.
  4. Serve with fresh fruit, yogurt or milk. Store in an air tight container.

  1. Take one Canyon Oats oatmeal cup and put it in a small grinder for 1-2 seconds and return back to the cup.
  2. Mix extra ingredients together and stir into Canyon Oats cup.
  3. Microwave for 1 minute. Check for doneness. It may be necessary to add another 30 seconds. Let sit for a couple minutes and an individual muffin is ready to eat.

  1. In a 5 qt. pot, heat oil and add garlic, onion, celery and carrots. Stir until tender.
  2. Mix the flour, seasoning salt and pepper together in a gallon plastic bag and then add meat until well coated.
  3. Place in colander to remove excess flour and then add meat to pot and stir until browned (you may need to add a little more oil depending on your pan).
  4. Add beef broth, clove and thyme and simmer for 30 minutes. Add oat groats and simmer for another 30 to 45 minutes.
Crock Pot Variation
  1. Cook the vegetables and meat in a fry pan. Add to the crock pot. (This can be done the night before and stored in the refrigerator.) Add broth and let cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 7-8 hours. Add the oat groats to the stew the last 45 minutes.

  1. In 4-quart saucepan or Dutch oven, brown ground beef. Add onion and garlic.
  2. Cook until onion is tender; drain. Add remaining ingredients except frozen vegetables. Cover, bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 50-60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add frozen vegetables; cook about 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add additional water if soup becomes too thick upon standing.
